A brief history of the area

Sea Point, originally part of Gorachoqua and Goringhaiqua grazing paths, emerged as a residential suburb in the early 1800s. Named in 1776, it grew steadily and joined Green Point in 1839. The Sea Point tramline opened in 1862, and the railway line from Cape Town reached Sea Point in 1905, marking significant population growth that continues to this day.

Sea Point is nestled between the charming suburbs of Three Anchor Bay and Bantry Bay, just a stone's throw away from Cape Town's bustling CBD. Getting around is convenient, with Anchor Bay only 5 minutes away via Beach Rd/M6 and Bantry Bay just as close via Kloof Rd. 

Reaching the V&A Waterfront is just an 8-minute drive via the M6. If you're heading to Cape Town International Airport, it's about a 24-minute drive via the N2.
